First thing would be to check the alarm fuse.
You diode-isolated those sensors, right? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

well if i knew what diode isolated was then the answer would probably be no but the fuse is fine and the remote unlock and lock work and the chirp works and the trunk release works but when the driver door opens when activated nothing happens

Did the alarm used to go off when you opened the door with the key with the alarm armed?
Does your dome light and door-open indicator come on when you open the door? Oh, and diodes are kind of like one-way valves for electric current. This link explains them well. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

in answer to the door question yes the driver door did set the alarm off before and with the diodes i connect the power part of the sensors to them? im not sure which one is the power wire. i think i might have fried the sensors because i connected just the shock sensor to it and it didnt even say it had power to it. both the pass and driver door dont trigger now. and the door indicator and dome light comes on

Well, your alarm manual should tell you which color wire going to the sensor does what. Typically there are four wires - +12v, ground, an instant ground trigger, and a warn-away input. I believe that you want to diode-isolate both the instant trigger and the warn-away input. I can't remember for sure though...searching on the12volt.com will yield an answer I'm sure.
About the door trigger, find the door trigger wire on your alarm, and verify that it gives +12 volts when the doors are closed and gives ground when a door is opened. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
