Well, I finally bought the damn keyless entry system and I am gonna be installing it this sunday. I got 1702 model and that thing comes with starter immobilizer. So my question is. Do you think its worth installing starter immobilizer or should I only put in keyless entry without immobilizer? And for people who already installed immobilizer. Was it easy? I mean how hard was it to find the starter wire?.
Some more questions:
Do I use Type-B lock type? On the Type-B diagram brown (Pakring Light Output) wire is not used. Did any one of you use it? Where did u connect it and what did it do for u?
Thank you very much for your help.

I replied to your PM. Type A door locks is like GM and Ford, Type B is Toyota and most other imports and Type C is vacuum locks. (pretty sure, double check your manual). The starter wire is located at the ignition harness its black/white and its fairly thick. I didnt install the parking light flashers because I needed another relay, yours may be built in because your system is a step up from mine. PM me with anymore questions.

I just finshed the install today, and it's awsome. I think that everyone should do it to their celicas. It took about 20min to do the whole thing. All you got to do is connect power, ground, unlock, and two lock wires. Its a lot easier if you get tap ins so that you dont have to cut the wires and stuff. I didnt install immobilizer cuz I dont think that anyone would want to steal an 95 celica ST. And for the people who want to do this, you can buy the system at PepBoys for $39.99 and it comes with new style remotes.
I am prolly gona make a how to on this topic.

It's great isn't it? So much more convient than using the key. Good idea with the tap ins, I used Stak-Ons. I'm glad you enjoy it.

Just a diagram with all the wiring, on the left side are wires that come from the keyless relay, on the right the wires that you need connect them too. All the colors are right. So if its brown with black stripe in the middle then the wire will look exacltly the same.

Just pop off the front two pops and you will be fine.

You dont have to take the pannel off, just move it to a side so that you can unscrew the screw behind it.

This shows you where all the screws are, the bottom pics shows you exactly where they are. Use phillips screwdriver.

Most of the tools that you are gonne need.
Pliers (only if u use tap ins)
Phillips screwdriver
10mm socet w wrench
Zip ties (if you want to make it look good)
Electrical tape (to make everything safe)
Tap ins (I bought mine at HomeDepot for $.69 in a pack of 4 (u gonna need only 4 of them)
2 1amp Diodes ($.89 at RadioShack) there are different kinds of 1amp diodes so say that u are gonna use it in a car with 12V running through.
Read the damn manual and print out your car wiring chart, you can find it on bulldog-security website I think its www.bulldog-security.com/wiring but I dont know if its 100% right.
Well thats it
