I like CAO's and R&J's, and i've got a pipe, my fav so far is 'willshire.'
My good friend went to school for the year in costa rica; he bought an entire box of cuban cohibas for a great price. Sanded the box down, took off every label, walked past customs with the box in his hands. They didn't even say anything, but that's probably bc he's in a wheelchair. Anyways i've had at least 15 since hes been back, and he hasnt charged me more than 30 bucks. And they are very nice smile.gif

defintly try kahula.... they are more mild than most cigars and have a great taste to them. and they are only about 4-7 dollars depending on the size

Also acid makes a good cigar

agreed I was pissed when Jillians was out of them, I got stuck with a Romeo which is a little to harsh for me but still a good choice. I also smoke B&M because they do have a smooth flavor regardless if they're cheap.

Well considering cuban's are illegal and expensive bc of it, I doubt you'll find much feedback round here.

Cubans aren't worth it, plus most of them are Dominican leaves anyway.

Cubans are good but not worth the price. Some Honduran and Nicaraguan cigars are easily as good.

CAO's are really good. good tasting cigars and they burn really well. i just smoked a Partagas Figaduro style cigar...really good.

i buy all of my cigars from www.Cigar.com. i buy singles.

no doubt that dominicans are becoming a lot more popular but you still cant come close to cubans. some cohibas have 100 ratings which is obviously the best. the best dominican ive seen had a 92 rating.

The Dominican/Cuban relationship is because the plants are very similar, it's the soil (not so much), aging, rolling, etc. that sets the two apart, dominican is more commercial so they don't age them for more than a week or so, where a good Cuban ciger is aged for a year before distribution.

Yes smoking is bad, as far as cigars it's like this, 5 natural cigars = 1 pack of cigarettes, natural cigars don't get the chemicals introduced to them like cigarettes do, non-natural cigars (Swishers, Optimo, Dutch, B&M) also get introduced to chemicals to help preserve them so where cigars might have 10 harmful characteristics, cigarettes would have 200 or so due to preservatives. It has been proven that 3 cigars a day not inhaled cause no health problems, 5 a day inhaled (based on size) as stated before is like a pack a day.
