First off, this is my first car, and I am new to these forums. I have a 94 celica GT coupe (at my buddies house bored n all, I'll have pics up a while later).

I am looking for some aesthetic advice and such, the stuff I haven't yet found by searching forums.

Okay... So I am looking to get new wheels. I was wondering if I could fit 18"http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?wheelbrand=Enkei&wheelmodel=EVO6+-+Anthracite onto my car.

And with new wheels I would need new tires. I am interested in tires that are black black black and not very big. I confuse myself when it comes to tires.

Next thing on my list was a body kit, side skirts and all. That 'magic lip' one i think it was called caught my attention.
What kind of work and all does this involve?

and also will any of this affect performance? since I'm also interested in that, like i picked up somewhere that there is an optimal wheel size and such.

they should fit. i wouldn't go any bigger than 17 though on our car. 18s look nice but are big and heavy and are more prone to damage with how little rubber you'll have on them. also the tires will be more pricey since you'll have to get low profile.
as for the body styling everyone has different tastes. for a coupe i would say 404/zephyr side skirts, curren/TRD rear Spats, TRD Spoiler and (if you can find one) a magic front lip or even just doing TRD front splitters as well.

welcome to the boards and do plenty of searching. also i would look through the parts database to see what kits you like.

Okay so I think I have decided to get those wheels but in 17" thanks to goferris' advice.

And the body kit I want is http://www.6gc.net/parts/22 well at least the front, have to check out other side skirts and rear kits but I might just settle for this. Probably gonna keep my car wet black also probably really spendy to get it redone to gunmetal.

Oh and lowering it... What would this require / affect in terms of performance and such, and after that body kit would I even be able to lower it any and still go over speed bumps?

ah... the combat kit. i wanted one for a while but from what i've read fitment is a real pain. they look amazing though. if you are going to fit it yourself i wouldn't recomend it but if you have a shop do it then go for it. also you'll need to get a modified crash bar cuz the stock one won't fit under that bumper.
