link dont work..but ive done a kit once before on an EG chassis civic, it wasnt to hard, u just gotta drill a hole, install the poper, wire every thing up...and depending on the kit, u have to find a spot to put ur emergency poper switch. Pretty much its just a button somewhere on the car(usually around the rocker pannels or under the side of a fender, that you use to open the door if ur remote runs out of batterys. Its not hard, but its not easy, u need the tools, time and skills to do it. unless ur gettin a shop to do it, if u are...then its very easy tongue.gif

the actual installation isnt too hard but gettin it perfect can be very frustrating. kinda hard to explain but youll see when u do it. just gettin it to work is pretty simple though. the one thing i cant figure out still and i dont know if there is a way to get around this but the solenoids block my windows from rolling all the way down so they only roll about a little less than half way which sucks. if you figure something out let me know and let me know if you would like some pics of my install. id be glad to get some up for ya.

well, i got my kit.
i got the SPAL 7 channel 50lb kit.
if u have any pics, that would be great.
did u use the ignition wire? i don't see a point if it just disables 1-4 channel while the car is ON. im gonna be in the car and won't need to use the remote for anything. Hell, im just using 1-2 channels, the whole kit has 5 wires to hook up.

yes they can get into your car, but that is why its hidden.

personally, i would not install a hidden switch. on worse case senario, you can climb through the hatch.

How would an extra battery happen? I mean after it's done you can't get to it... true?
