Do you mean the ones like on Magic's car?

Or, do you mean the ones on ST205's car?

The second set is the same as USDM skirts and you can buy them with all the hardware from www.toyotaworld.com for $350 shipped. The first set is no longer available although the z-glyde knockoffs are close. I know of a person that makes knockoffs in the U.K. that you can get for about $600 shipped to the U.S. If you are interested, let me know.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

If you are comparing the ones on ST205's car to the USDM skirts, they are the same. Good luck with your project.

Those are identical to the USDM sides and A LOT more expensive. Those used skirts are $474 shipped and you can get brand new ones from toyota world WITH all the hardware, primed and ready to be painted for $350 shipped.

hmmm i guess for whatever reason, i figured the gt4 came with different side skirts than the US ones. I thought they had more of a cave in look toward the center of them..if that makes any sense. Those USDM ones are what im looking for then. Thanks, toyotaworld it is!

Technically that's true Baddica, See jgreening's post. Magic has the rare SS-III/GT-FOUR sideskirts (which are different - sometimes referred to as the TRD sides which isn't correct - It's a toyota part that's no longer in production), while ST205 has the regular (USDM and others) ones.

Cool. And what's the difference between them and the rare ones?

Pretty much the only difference (other than the price) is that the rare ones kind of flare up the side of the car a bit more. also, I think the flanges (or whatever they are that stick outwards from the car) are a bit more pronounced and lower, such as on Magic's car

So in other words...gt4 sideskirts do exist but arent worth it...the usdm will work fine for me... i just hope they flow with the gt4 front end...

PS. the usdm stock side skirt only came in one form from 96-99 corect???

Compare the skirts on ST205's car with the the skirts on Lagos car. They are the same but one came on the GT4 and one came on the USDM GT's. So, if you like how they "flow" with the GT4 front end on those cars, you will like them on your car. And yes, there is only one USDM sideskirts for the 96-99 hatchbacks. The convertibles had different skirts but just order the skirts that came with the hatches.
