Thats a scam, not a sponsorship Go look around other forums and you'll see that this isnt a sponsorship at all. Sponsorships will pay for everything on your car, not give you discounts.

If they ever start asking for money, Dont give them any. Companies that can afford to "sponsor" your cars dont need your $88 for paper work and BS.

It's NOT a scam I have a buddy that they sponsor, sorry but only talk about thnkgs you KNOW about sorry if I'm being a b**** but my buddy just got $5k at the beginning of the summer

But dont sit there and tell me not to talk about what I know. IDK how your buddy got $5,000 but it seems like the 100s of other people get taken in by this scam have something else to say about it. So how bout you go and tell the reputable people in the Toyota forums that they dont know what they're talking about. So when you get ripped off and realize what a real sponsorship is and how if you get sponsored they dont ask you for any money and you get ripped off dont you dare come back crying. SMARTIN UP! Companies with money to spend on sponsorships dont need your credit card #, in fact they dont need your money at all.

if i was a company, i wouldnt give someone 5grand just to sport a sticker on their car. you can get anyone to do that just by giving them a free sticker.

the key word is qualify! thats not the same thing as gettting 5grand. my guess is that they will say you have 5grand credit worth of discounts. then they will try to sell you something marked up and pretend they gave you a discount.

i got them to sponsor me too, its a waste of money, u have to send them $80 to get the contract to sign and their parts are expensive even with the 55%. the only good sponsors are the 1s that find you, not the ones you find.

scp is a real sponsorship i am sponcered by them and have got my cf hood and trunk from vis and my body kit all at 55% off and with free shiping i got a 10,000 half sponsorship from them and have never had a prob the 80$ is a charity donation to victiom of illegal street racing and you can get the money back if you clam it on your tax return i did . and if you can not find a something for your car they well hunt it down for you .you also get a free dino at one of there sponsored shops after you use half your $. so no it is not a scam it the real thing

as for getsponsored.com i have also got sponsored though them with a full with decalkits.com and a half with blapunkt though them

Ok there you go, another happy person who was SPONSORED or "sponsored" as you call it From SCP So until I get "ripped off and come crying back" I'm sticking with it and when I get my money I'll make sure to post about it

Kristin, your still missing the entire point. That person basically said they paid 80 bucks to be a customer and got 55% off parts. Ok lets see here, this company gets wholesale prices for stuff, sells them 55% off the most expensive price they can find, and then they charge it to you, while they STILL make a profit. Also, when you get $12,000, its 12,000 "in savings." Using 1/2 the money, is buying alot of crap off of them, and the savings total that amount. Heres the ENTIRE PROBLEM. YOUR BUYING YOUR STUFF. No matter what you think your getting, you are still paying for things. Whats that NOT. Thats NOT SPONSORSHIP. Sponsorship is FREE. You buy NOTHING, they buy it for YOU. In fact, you actually lose alot of control over your car because they tell you what you need to put on.

Do you understand maybe finally? My apologies for looking out for someone who is too naive to understand how a scam works. But if you want to pay money for your "sponsorship" then you go ahead, spend money on parts that a real company would be asking you to put on your car.

I'm done trying to explain this and maybe some of the more aware buyers will be very skeptical of such deals.

im sponsored by Toyota/TRD USA, and i didnt pay a dime , i get super deep discounts on any Toyota OE or TRD part... the previous owner of my car was also using their program, and purchased a brand new hand built 5sfe Shortblock (OE spec, hand built at TRD) for 1200 dollars shipped to his door... the original price to get this part through a dealership is in the 2800 range. I havent had to use it yet, but i am most likely going to get a new rear bumper through it over the winter

sponsorships usually dont just give out free stuff... if you do get something for free its usually a prototype product that is being tested, since Sports Compact Pro doesnt actually make anything they dont do that. most "sponsorships" will either pay for a certain part or aspect of teh car (race tires for instance), give you a discount, provide their marketing tools (albeit decals, brochures, web banners etc...) free of cost, and continually correspond with you about how things are going... most places will only sponsor you if they see a definate marketing tool with you or the car.

And doing so you are required to find a way to get to certain shows, its in your contract. Basically your a billboard. With SCP, they're out for a profit directly from you on top of using you as advertisement.

Its actually very clever what they do. They have observed the average "tuner's" (I use this term loosely) desire to have a sponsored car and be in all these shows and what not but basically they are using the word "sponsor" in the wrong context. They arent sponsoring you, you are sponsoring them.
