i was looking at ViS's website and it says in their description on the zyclone CF hood that they require hood pins. are they really necessary? the hood latch should be good enough right? thanks for any replies. PEACE!

i got the hood and without pins. no pins are necessary.

they say that to cover their ass
while the stock latch is good up to regular speeds, the fact that the hood not vents means that there can be more pressure pushing up on the hood...the hood pins may be required for high speeds.

yup, not really necessary, but if you'ce seen the Extervermini supra video where the hood is literally bending, and you plan to go real fast, you might get em.

when i drive over 70 my hood flex's. i am going to get pins. i am a big sissy though i dont want to waste my investment so im going to play it safe.
