Hi I have a 96 red vert and I hate the fact that the side panles are black, it matches the top and with some black rims wouldnt be too bad but I noticed the hatches have a nice little side skirt stock, are they compatible? If I went to a junk yard can I just pry em off and slap them on? Any siggestions? Thanks!

I just did this mod. Cut out the interior gussets with some snips. I used 3 countersunk screws and rivet the ends to the fenders. Came out awesome and I am happy. forget about using the stock mounting tabs, they dont work on you convertible.

I hate to keep yet another one of these "vert side skirt" threads alive, but Madmods, do you think you could post some more pics showing the enitre car from the side with the new skirts on? I just want to admire your work, and perhaps get a better idea of what mine will look like once I install them. Then, and only then, shall we let these threads die.
