My 7A-FE has 200,000 miles on it now. I was thinking of getting a 4A-GZE but figured it would be cheaper to put a GE head on the 7A and then turboing later on. Plus, it will still be a 1.8 which I'm guessing gives it more potential. My question is... since I have so many miles and my engine may die any day now, is it okay for my 7A to have 200,000 miles and the head of the engine only have 30,000 miles? I don't really know how to ask this exactly to get the answer I want... What part of the engine usually dies out and starts the problems? The head or the bottom half. Because if the bottom half will remain the same 7A... then it's more feasible to go with the GZE. Help me out. Thanks.
