So i got my new rims today and noticed that the guy from tire rack sent me 18X8 and i thought the rims i were getting were 18X7.5. Does anyone know if the 18X8 rim will rub on anything? (i.e suspension, wheel well, etc.) I know this has probably been covered before but im too lazy to do a search and just got done watching my beloved White Sox beat the Astros in a just under 6 hr game. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Kyle

Truth is, it all depends on offset and tire size. If u give some more details and what type and brand we can let u know.

The rim will hold 225/35-18 the rims are TR motorsports R5 18". There on tire rack and i dont know what brand of tires im getting yet. The offset on the 18x7.5 is +35mm but i cant find any info on the offset of the 18x8 rims. tirerack says only 18x7.5 will fit on my car, so i cant find any info on the 18x8.

Since you don't have to put these on immediately, get on the phone and yell at Tire Rack for sending you the wrong wheels.

Who knows, maybe you'll get a discount on the tires you'll be putting on them.

35 offset should be alright.

Well what you could do is take a rim/tire of your car and then just bolt the rim up on your car don't drop it or nothing but check to make sure that the rims clears everything too.
