I did the 3s swap and my car was an auto that I swaped to a manual and the car has power and all but will not crank. Has anyone done a 3sgte swap into a auto car before? What did you guys have to do to get the car to crank over?

Talked to Dave and he wasn't quite sure what to do. Maybe he can post on here and explain it better.

the only thing i can think of is making sure you wired in or bypassed the clutch start switch.

Yea I was wondering since Dr. Tweak just did that 3s with auto to manual swap what he did to it.

But no I don't have the starter kill switch hooked up and i don't have the starter relay in the kick panel.

find out what 2 wires go to the clutch start switch and join them together to bypass them. the starter relay would be in the main fuse box, i think...

did dave do your harness ?

edit: you can alwasy just jump a 12 volt line directly from the battery to the starter to get the motor to crank. just keep an eye on your fuese cause they tend to blow our when u do that

i just took at look at some wiring diagrams... it looks like pin 4 from your starter relay goes goes directly to the clutch start switch.. since its just one wire, im guessing you can just ground that out to by bass it

On a side note I found I one of my hoses on my throttle body I found a fuel leak, its the little hose that bolts to the fuel rail and the throttle body, its like 3 or 4 inches long and is hard to get to unless you take the throttle body off and has the fuel fittings on the end of the hoses. can I pick a new one up at autozone or something or is that something I have to order from to toyota.

Yea but I didnt want to pay $20 for a hose, I'd rather pick it up at autozone or something like that, I just wasn't sure if they have fuel lines in different lengths or not. But I'll check tommorow and if not get it from toyota.

Well at least you know the engine cranks smile.gif

Get that leak fixed and try splicing those wires I emailed you about... hopefully that will do it.
