I am very close to beginning a new project car and wanted to get some feedback. No, I am not selling the celica - in fact, there are some major things in store for her too!

My plan is to buy a MKII MR2 (91-95) and drop in a 5vzfe and having a custom twin screw supercharger fabbed up for it. I am planning a water to air intercooler and custom pulleys. The goal will be a safe, reliable 400whp and 300 ft/lbs of torque before 2000 RPMs. The car will be stock bodied (except for clear corners), redded tails, and aftermarket rims. The car will have 93+ turbo brakes and an aftermarket suspension that will be first rate. I am looking for a hardtop for ridgity reasons but they are a little more difficult to find in the best color (black biggrin.gif).

Here are some of the pics of a guy who has a similar car to what I plan (but he has a 1mzfe and TRD supercharger - there are a few of these cars around but no-one has done a twin screw to my knowledge yet):

Supercharged V6 MR2

Thoughts?

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
