hey guys, a friend of mine is making coustom grills out of stainless steel, this stuff is REAL strong, and it wont bend and stuff like them crappy ones on ebay.
they are being made out of 1/8" thick stainless steel, with 1/2" round holes. they will probably be polished, or you could have them powdercoated or some kind of electro-plating stuff he was talking about, i can get more details as needed. hes working on a surround for them of some type, not exactly sure on that yet. they will have strong mounting brackets, we're gonna work on the 94-95 first, just cuz its what i have..lol but if it works out, he'll make them for the 96+ too..below are a couple samples of the material, he also says that he can get it with diffrent size holes, ect....just for reference, the piece is about 6"X8"...i tried to bend it with my hands...NOPE. not gonna happen..lol hes also going to "roll" them to give them a little contour to match the contour of the opening..like i said, these are gonna be quality pieces... heres a sample of the material:  this is high quality stuff.... so what'dya guys think? any good? any intrest?
