the hood protectant under my hood has got oil all over it and it gets on top of my engine cuz it touches it when the hood is closed. Anybody know any other companies or sites that make this stuff or something thinnner?

hmmmm, ive never considered cleaning it. But the oil leak isnt there anymore, cuz it wasnt actually ever an oil leak. thx galcobar

yeah 98-99s didd have it there at all. all i know is that that stuff costs a lot. dont try putting any other type of insulation in there, or you could start a fire.

its so the heat from the engine doesnt bubble the paint off or make it start chipping supposedly. i dont think it matters my 97 doesnt have it on there either but my brothers and moms camry has it on theres a 2000 and a 99. so i dont know when they determine when to use it.
