I finally have it.. i watched it two nights ago with my cousins. the race scenes were pretty good too. it basically sums up what happens in the first 3 stages of the anime into one film.. except that they mixed up and left some characters out of the movie.
Iketani (one of the mechanics from the Akina SpeedStars) was left out and replaced by Itsuki (the AE86 driver's dumb-ass friend) Keisuke (the driver of the yellow FD) is replaced by Nakazato (one of the guys from the Night Kids who drives the black GT-R). some other races were also left out (like when he chases after the rally GT-FOUR with the Hiro wing  ) and the cliff jump race with the blue MR2. other than that it was a good movie.i bought the DVD from an oriental gift shop. it's awesome so go watch it!
