hey guys, my 3s will be here in about a week, (thanks jeremey!)
and i've started to compile a list of things i wanna do to it while its out.
id like your opinions and suggestions on anything i may have missed, or anything you think may be worth looking into.
first, the basics:
its a 91 USDM 3sgte
so with that in mind, here we go...lol
TOYOTA ONLY PARTS:
t-belt
tensioner and idler pullys
water pump
oil pump (not to sure on this one yet)
wires , cap, rotor, plugs
rear main seal
hose from hell and hose from hell on earth
valve cover gasket
injector o-rings (if needed)
t-stat
fuel filter
So, thats the basic toyota buy sheet for the time...im sure ill have more to add as i go along..lol
heres a short list of extras im planning on starting off with
spec stage 2 clutch
fidanza flywheel
ATS throttle body inlet
JDM ecu (for now..)
another 3" dp (the berk tech pipe is getting DESTROYED by the 5sfte..lmao)
twosrus valve cover bolts
ill be reusing my intercooler from the 5sfte project, should be fine, its the same intercooler art is using with his swap..
aluminum intercooler piping
walboro FP from 5sfte
various hoses, silicone lines..ect
im sure im missing some things..at the moment im more concerned with matinence items before i start getting into the good stuff..lol all that stuff will come next year
any suggestions or ideas?

thanks

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

the plan always WAS to swap...the 5sfte was just a step along the way...LOTS of learning to be had with the 5sfte setup.
the 5sfte setup will be sold, including motor, provided it lasts till spring when i plan to install the 3s wink.gif
