Anyone who races at a regular street side meet is pretty idiotic. Plus you endanger the meet of being cleared. Here in houston I think we are the 3th biggest Import racing scene in the US. We have a meet every friday night more than 75+ cars show up everytime. Cops never show up unless someone in the local stores complained. We already know everyone so it doesn't happen often.

Otherwords Be Safe and if you feel the urge to race goto the track or play some video games bro.

well from my experience last week, i had to go to court for street racin when i wasent. 16 yr old in a crx pulled next to me on a light revs engine talked ****. light goes green he goes cop is on the opposite lane sees him and claims he saw me right next to him takin off. whet to court and told the judge the whole story, she asked me to convince her that i was not "street racing" but ill i have is my word. the kid wont testify or even admit all the stuff he did. his father told the judge that his civic is turboed so the car pulls hard sometimes. the cop was an ass to me yet all i said was no sir yes sir. i hope that with a attorney i can clean my record now. this is what happens when immature try to show off.

I can totally understand...thats the point i was trying to make earlier. yeah i like watching street racing, but the innocent people loosely associated with them or in the wrong place at the wrong time get blamed. it suks getting profiled but hey...what ya gonna do...

i feel you...i was out there to pick someone up i didnt even want to be there because of an accident the week before at THE SAME SPOT! its a secluded business park and i saw a car wrapped around a tree. so i thought it would be stupid to be there, my boy dosent have a phone so i went to get him outta there. but the weird thing is...everyone is perfectly happy just handing out in a parking lot the cops run us away and threaten to ticket us EVEN though THE OWNER says its perfectly fine! the cops here are funny sometimes...

one cop came and chilled out there with us, he was older so he was pretty cool. he said "id rather u guys hang around here standing still than hanging somewhere else racing. its not until we get broke up people want to go race, i never liked racing (celi is REAL slow) so i just watch sometimes.

Racing on the streets is dumb anyways... Im kinda glad theyre passing laws to ban it cuz its really a dangerous thing for the driver and other people aswell...

Thats why it kinda pisses me off when there's some idiot racing around in a modified car thinking that theyre the sh*t... But in reality, theyre just makin themselves look like the biggest jackass to be driven the streets...

I think it's the same as watching cock fighting. It's just not legal. I don't think they should be able to take your car if your not racing. The thing is though, if it's street racing or any other type of legal activity, if you hang out with trouble, expect to get into trouble. It doesn't matter if your doing anything wrong or not, they'll take you down with them. Just try to avoid it, you'll be fine.

2.) Resting
3.) Racing.

Here in NH I just found out there is no law against street racing. All they do is hit you with any traffic laws that you broke, ie. speeding, reckless op, etc.
