I dunno what the hell is wrong with this, but it keeps happening to me. I poped my hood the other day 2 add some washer fluid. When i was whiping down every thing, i noticed that my second sparkplug wire from the passanger side was poped out a bit. The other 3 are all seated down properly, then the one is poped up. I also noticed theres a bit of dirt n grime under where its poped up. I can push the wire back down and it seats properly when the engine is cool. When i drive, if i keep the speed down, below 50km/h, its fine. If i go over 60km/h, the wire pops up. These wires are only like 3 months old, and have never had a problem with them b4. Any one have somethin like this happen to them??/ know what the problem could be??

my only guess would be that ur spark plug isn't sealed right and some of the compression escapes, poping the wire out of place

take a set of needlenose pliers and just give the "ring" that clicks onto the plug a LITTLE squeeze, just to make it a little smaller.
should grab tighter, and stop popping off. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Are your tube seals ok? Looks like a lot of oil on the top of the seal.

plug and gap is ok(NGK Iridium, dont needa gap), i pinched the wire and it stopped. I actually have no clue of what that is under the wire cap, its not oil or gas, its just dirt and grime. The thing is, its just the sleave of the plug wire thats moving up. the wires i have (crappy bosch) have the sleve attached seperate. Ie the actuall wire just sits there, the sleve is really only used to guard crap from goin down the hole. My cars runnin fine now that i crimped the wire. And yes it is a ractive (neon) strut bar. Cost me $50. works great.
