Im currently reading the Haynes Repair Manual and before i think about pulling my front bumper off to wetsand it and prime it and paint i want to make absolute sure i know how to take this bumper off....
Now i have a 99 celica gt hatch (fog lights-dont know if this matters). Well anyways in the book it says to 'pry it off the bumper with a screwdriver' now from these pictures it looks noting like my bumper... When taking the bottom plastic guard off (bottom of car) i see 3 screws connecting from my bumper to my fenders..Now i dont want to chance 'prying' it off like the book mentions and it not work and i dont want to go thru the hassle of removing all the screws as its a pain IMO since ive tried and if the book is right it would make it easier. So my question is: How do i take it off Pictures are nice if u have some of exactly what u need to remove. And also... Anyone have a product the would recommend to remove tape adhesive around headlights and a lite mist of paint....(Forgot a small area !) p.s. I have painted part of my fender and gotten it lookin nice and i wouldnt mind painting my car with the bumper on but its getting to cold to paint since i dont get off work until its dark.
