I saw a Honda Del-Sol at the junk yard last week that had a set of coilovers on the front. I don't know enough about suspension yet to tell if they would work on my gt. Anybody know?

i'm not 100% sure but i'm guessing not. seeing that Honda uses a double wish-bone setup while our celi's have macpherson struts.. so my answer would be no.
and to add onto this post, does anybody know if the ST185 coilovers work with our 6th gens? -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I have installed coilovers on several diff cars including my old civic and my celica, there basicly the same setup shock/strut however its the spring rate, your not gana want to put coil over springs on a your car unless its designed for your car, else you will get a really crappy ride. regadless of weither it fits or not.

What about something that similar? Civic's weigh about the same as a Celica. I know when I was doing my Geo Storm, there were some guys that used CRX coilovers on them. I'm sure there's some switchable parts out there. I'm interested in H22 headers on a 5sfe. There is things that we just don't know yet? Who figured out that a Neon strut bar would fit on the front of a Celica? And who would have ever thought of something like that? -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

well like ceris said .. the spring rate is what you really want t know frist... then as interchangability ... yes and no .. if the sleav slide over hub you should be fine.. have fun with your suspension .. test things out .. find whats works for you and give you a good feel on the road.
