Saturday morning, I left to my girlfriend's in the celica. my right rear suspension started making a 'clunking' noise. Its pretty bad, I have the car parked now until Tuesday when I go to work on my motor some more. I'm bringing the car to my mechanic to see what he thinks of it...Any ideas?

I suspect it is something with my strut. The car is lowered all the way to its lowest setting with GCs. My dad thinks it has something to do with the brake drum. Neither of us have checked it out yet because it is way to cold outside for me to spend some time looking (im sick).

Any advice/tips/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Check your sway bar bushings and strut mount, they can cause a clunking noise if they go.

agreed. Bushing is about $6 from the dealer, and the strut mount is about $80. Try the bushing first wink.gif

Those have been replaced. I think this might be an issue with the strut mount. By the way, is there a hub bearing on a drum brake setup?
