I have an auto GT-S and I want to know if I buy a ST205 front clip and a MR2T (LSD) tranny...what else I need to do the engine/tranny swap? I think I dont need anything else but I just want to make sure.

TIA

Well, since you have an automatic you need the components from a manual transmission GT/GT-S. These will probably include-

Shifter assembly
Shifter cables
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch pedal and brake pedal from a manual Celica, along with the associated cables for the clutch pedal
3SGTE flywheel
3SGTE clutch

There may be more parts needed, but off the top of my head those are the most important. Do a search on the auto to manual conversion so you know what parts are needed for that, and then deal with getting the parts for the transmission. You can get a great kit on EBay by Exedy that comes with a 3SGTE flywheel and Clutch and has all the parts needed to change the clutch yourself.....with all those parts you should be good to go with your project.

If you go 2nd gen, I would try to buy a MR2T tranny of the same year so that the shift linkage will swap over. People (including me) who use different years had problems.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Did you get a ST185 or ST205 clip? The answer to your question depends on the answer to that question.

Then those things will come with the clip. I would still get a new clutch though and consider having the flywheel resurfaced depending on condition.

Also, I do not know if the ST205 axels will work with the MR2 tranny because those of us that have gotten that have used MR2 tranny inners and either Camry V6 or ST185 outers.

maybe nobody try st205 axel on mr2 turbo tranny.I think it's like st185 axle. Warning mr2 lsd and no-lsd tranny use different inner axle. Axle for lsd tranny is very expensive. So you can modifie the no lsd axle to fit on lsd tranny.
Also you maybe need little custom jod to fit the mr2 tranny fwd on the shift linkage or maybe use your 5sfe shift linkage
