Impressive...

Isn't Manny running 203whp? What are the differences between your setups?

Congrats on the numbers...that's good power and should be very fun to drive, hehe. I am dyno tuning my Celi in February and hope to break the 150 WHP, LOL.

With Manny's early runs on the dyno he was using a BTM to retard his timing at high RPMs. That absolutly killed him after 4400. He has taken it out since and OMG the difference is incredible.

I thought his newest results with the bigger injectors yielded 203whp?

i called them up and the said it's at wheels. wink.gif from wat manny said. 200 hp seems about right. cause when he was at the dyno he said that he had the btm to restict it and he got 203hp and 246tq. so let just say that if the 10% off is true. he should he getting appx 223hp and 270tq.

nice job! ..but this 10% rule is a myth . either there is something wrong with their dyno or they are telling you lies. some dynos like a "mustang dyno" end up reading a lot higher then they should. ive never heard of dyno dynamics tho, so i dont know how accurate they are.

manny when to a dynojet. those are known to be pretty much right on the money. the number you get on the screen is your real wheel hp.

if you go again, try to see if you can find a dynojet. then you can directly compare to mannys results. also, make sure all runs are only done in 4th gear, because the other gears will read more hp, and thats considered cheating

Usually, accuracy is determined by the data acquisition software...and how tight you strap down the car (if it's a roller dyno). I trust more chassis dynos like Dynapacks. And if you have your car's data correctly (weight, gear ratios, etc) you cannot go wrong. I had my Supra weighted and then entered that data in WinPEP and I got my results. It was funny, because every number added up correctly. 470 at 20 PSI/530 at 26. I counted in my mind and I don't know if it's a coincidence, but every PSI "added" exactly ten horsepower. (20PSI)470 + (6PSI)60 = (26PSI)530. And that was on two different days with a blown turbo. =P

I am going to open a dyno shop when I get to the island. I have a close friend who is an excellent mechanic. If he knew English, he would be unstoppable. He only knows terms but he still manages to figure out stuff in English.

just for a little clarification about the dyno used.. the dyno dynamics dyno that vin went on is a brake dyno, i dynoed ona dynojet 248c, which is a inertia dyno.
makes for diffrent #s.
