You lose power at 5800 RPMs. i dont care about racing all i was woundering was the stock redline in the st celica My thoughts are: If you don't care about racing, then you shouldn't worry about where the car redlines. |

Mine is European GT version with 175HP.
It redlines at 7.000rpm and limiter is at some 7.300rpm roughly.. can't be sure on 100% as after 5000rpm it runs up like hell... ;-) According to GPS 0-60mph in 7.6sec -------------------- '96 Celica GT, 16" AEF alloys, Eibach springs by Toyota Team Europe, TENZO Air intake, Chiptuning, GT4 design by Postert

Shin and I were just talking about it so i though i would post a topic. NOW THIS QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED AND IT WAS NEVER ABOUT RACING -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte

QUOTE(Blakout16 @ Jan 3, 2006 - 10:35 PM) set em straight nik >;D That comment is just begging for retaliation. Back to the subject though. The question was answered, but you know. My point was, if the car is just used for daily driving. It wouldn't matter where the car redlines. If you're autocrossing or something of that nature, then I'd understand the question. Asking where it redlines wasn't a stupid question and if you guys thought I was trying to be smart I wasn't. I was just adding my comment. And you know, thats great nik has a 7agte. Mad props. But you know, I just hope people aren't shifting at redline at a daily basis. Then again, what you do with you car is your own business. |
