Well, for the moment, i have 2 12" rockford P1's and they are 150 watt RMS at 4 ohms but my amp only puts out 100 Watt RMS at 4 Ohms over 2 channels. I am currently broke (thanks to tuition payment). I don't really want 2 12's either because that leaves little or no trunk room. So I was planning on getting an Alpine SWE-1242 sub. What do you guys think of that subwoofer? I mean Alpine is only the best but I dunno about the type E. I believe that sub is for cheappies. Let me know what you think of that sub. And let me know if anyone wants to buy the 2 12's.

Get a Coustic CF1244. It's dirt cheap for what you get, made of real carbon fiber, holds a lot of power and sounds very clear. Goes very low too and it's dual-coil. It's the most bang-for-the-buck subwoofer I have heard in my life. I have two of them in a sealed 1.0 cu. ft. enclosure powered by a Kicker ZR600 and they pound extremely hard. I got them for $70 each on clearance at my local car audio shop down in Puerto Rico.
