I pretty much have most of my engine and engine components upgraded: 550cc injectors, cam gears, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, stand alone computer, etc., except for cam chafts. A mechanic once told me that a set of aftermarket cam chafts can have the opposite effect on performance. How true is that and are they a recommended upgrade in terms of more power and better performance, perhaps?

Wrong place here. This is Suspension forum. Aftermarket cams generally increase hp at high rpms. They don't hurt you hp unless you get one that is for race only purpose. These decress low rpm power. What car are you talking about putting these one? Is it a Celica? If so, what motor?

Yes, it's for a '94 Celica (3SGTE motor)!

yea you need to go to forced induction section for this

sign up on MR2oc.com and SEARCH and read up on cam shafts

a 264 setup will probably be fine for you....
