keep the engine tuned, replace worn parts, proper tire pressure, don't carry extra weight.
what doesn't help: dogging ur car, racing ppl from stoplights, forced induction> power comes at a price :-p this is another one of those times i wish the 5spd gearing wasn't so short. Cruising at 60-65 won't net you the best mileage. But that's the way it is. ~bob -------------------- ![]() |

Shift at 2k, but don't push the throttle very far down so you don't lug the car. You can be in 5th by about 35-40mph.
