what do think needs to be done to increase feul efficiencies?

keep the engine tuned, replace worn parts, proper tire pressure, don't carry extra weight.

what doesn't help: dogging ur car, racing ppl from stoplights, forced induction> power comes at a price :-p

this is another one of those times i wish the 5spd gearing wasn't so short. Cruising at 60-65 won't net you the best mileage. But that's the way it is.

lol, i dunno, alot of our engines have a lot of miles/use....so i would think that does not help any...

i'm guessing there's nothing you can do to get better mpg...

Shift at 2k, but don't push the throttle very far down so you don't lug the car. You can be in 5th by about 35-40mph.
