Well thats even better, he was telling me it was a Silvertop 16valve 4A-GE Spec Engine
but the whole time i was thinking it was the 20v.

Whats the Difference between the 4A-GE 16 valve and the 20valve?

anyways its not to bad for just a turntable, mixer and $75, That dj stuff is old, LOL

How much better is it going to be going from a 7A-FE to the Silvertop 4A-GE?

About 50hp. Yes, it's a big difference.

Thanks Dr. Tweak for the help but i have a couple more ?'s if you dont mind

1. How many litres is the 20v silver top?

2. what about the stock wiring harness in my st, would that work or would i have to get one just for the 20v silvertop?

3. o i thought st's had about 110 and the silvertops had about 130-135?

4. About what time would it run being an (Auto Trans) in the 1/8 mile?

Thanks, Kyle

im getting it this sunday so i will post pics when i bring it home

1. 1.6 liters
2. Probably best with the 20v harness, Tweak can wire you up what you need.
3. 20v is 160 silvertop, 165 blacktop
4. 9s? It couldn't be very good with an auto.

In addition to what bulldog said, in theory (this is just something for all you to keep in mind), you can run a silvertop off a 7A ECU, but to make it be able to rev high enough you would have to replace a component in the ECU. And it will not run as well as with the silvertop ECU and harness, which is the best option.

I'm not sure about the 1/8 mile, but yeah, the auto won't be that great.

Also, make sure that you get the ECU, harness, ignitor, coil, and AFM.
