There really isn't much to do for little performance gains. The first thing i did was got thermal cat-back exhaust and injen short ram intake. Also went and got a stage 2 clutch (cause the clutch was going out) but really any other performance gains would be turbo the 5s or swap the motor. but i'd wait to see what other people would say also.

I would say exhaust, intake of some sort (either mess with the stock one and put in like a K&N filter or get a CAI instead of a short ram), a mild clutch like a stage 1, a lightened flywheel. I would also recommend an all around tune up and maintenance since the car is older.

Are you looking for drag racing or autocross or just fun on the street? I would say find some weight to lose like the spare tire and such. Get a TRD Quickshifter to help your shift times (the TWM is shorter too but if you're doing like Autocross you lose time of your hand on the wheel since it's so retardedly stubby).

If you're looking to dump some serious money in the car you can turbocharge your engine or do an engine swap. Get some lightweight wheels and brakes to reduce the rotational inertia, lower the car with stiffer springs and suspension for better handling and aerodynamics, sway bars for handling, etc

Any other questions? I'm out of ideas haha

I am thinking about going for some small performance gains as well.. I don't plan on doing a 3sgte swap or anything that major... but my friend said if I do things like a cams, adjustable cam gear and a header that would get some nice gains...

what parts are out there and would you recommend?

first priority is to make sure the car is running smoothy and keep driving for miles to come! there's nothing worse than spending thousands on a car then about a month later, the car dies on you, and you'd have to buy a new car or replace the engine, which costs $$$$
