Hi, well me and my GF have been together for a year and almost 4 months now, me and her just broke up like last week but were trying to work it out, what kind of date could i take her on to get back together?

our 1 year and four months will be on valentines day so what could i do for her that she might like?

Im 19, and i got my GF a promise ring about a month ago...i dont think ive ever seen her that happy. Seriously man, if ya wanna be romantic, Learn how to cook something good that she would love, then rent a movie and have it waiting for it her when she gets there...make it a surprise...girls love that kinda stuff. Be unpredictable and have the promise ring waiting too.

ok this is what i would do.
bring her to ur house. lights off and as soon as she walks in hold her hand. walk toward the dinner table. on the way there pick up a rose(that u hid b4 she got there). swing her around and give her the flower and maybe a kiss. hold her hand and keep on walking, cover her eyes up and sit her down at the table and have her favorite food ready with a notecard next to her plate. light up the candle and tell her " i wanted some extra light so that i can show u this" (give her the ring) boom!!!! she'll be speachless, i promise.

^ true. Me and my current GF have broken up 4 times b4 we got it right. We met when we were 14, we went out 3 diff times when we were in grade 10, and then this time it worked out. Out of no where we started talking again after about a year of not talking 2 eachother, hung out for about 2 months, and have been 2gether for a year n a month.

well i have already givin her a promise ring a long time ago but once we got in a fight she chunked it at my celica when i was drving off and it bounced off in the grass somewhere and we lost it, LOL so maybe its time for another one

im going to have to agree with nat on this one man. MOST of the time, i tell people after a break up of any kind to just let it go. sometimes you can work it out depending on the breakup and the chemistry between the two. let me get this straight, you broke up with her, and a week later you want to get back together with her? are you afraid of being single? do you love her? if you cant imagine saying those 3 words with you heart, just let her go. i think a lot of younger people (im only 19 myself) stay in relationships for the wrong reasons. some guys, and girls, are just pansies when it comes to breaking it off. if it aint working, it aint working.

also you say you miss her now, and thats understandable, but how about in a couple months? last thing you want to do is appear desperate to get back together with her. my advice, play it cool for a month or so. if she likes you, trust me, shell try to keep in touch with you by phone at least. keep phone calls short, but keep your cool. dont underestimate how absence creates desire, to an extent.

tangcla...a promiss ring is a ring that you give ur signifcant other to promiss somethin...most of the time promiss to propose, or promiss to love them for w/e...i gave my ex a promiss ring after 7 months of being with her cuz she ha alot of bad habbits/did alot of stupid things that pissed me off. IE, she would wear really slutty clothes when she would go clubbin and hit on guys for fun while i wasnt there, she used 2 smoke alot behind my back, etc. Any ways, i gave it 2 her and sure enough she did that stuff and screwed a guy behind my back. so i got the ring back, but any ways..i gave my present gf the ring just recently and i gave it 2 her because im moving about 3 n a half hours away in a few months and i wanna still be with her, so its a promiss to love her and for her 2 love me.

Most people who break up who have been together for a while, only realize after you've broken up how much you actually love that person and don't want to live your life without them. I know so many people who have broken up, get back together and within a couple of months get married and are happier than ever. Just because you break up, doesn't mean it's over unless something extreme happens.

i think people who break up want to but then they are just scared of being lonely cuz for so long they had someone right there next to them. Thats just my feelings on it and thats how ive personally seen things work. Ive never once seen it work out differently but im only 20 and i think its stupid to be in a serious relationship this young cuz ur prime dating age is 21-23ish so if ur going to settle now then ull never know whats fully out there

well it really sucked because she lived with me! so now every night i cant even sleep because i felt so comfortable while she was here with me every night

i am truly in love with her thats why i want her back, just because your on a break doesnt mean your all the way broken up it just means u want some time away.

But yea i wish i wouldnt have kicked her out, but at least she still calls me and text messages me a little.

im just going to play it kewl for awhile and c what happens.
