Got my tune-up, don't know if I'll go back there again... Options

Well my celi went in on Saturday night to sit and then operated on this morning (2-6-06). I took it to Burien Toyota, which is where the PSTOC (Puget Sound Toyota Owners Club) has a 25% discount off parts and labor. I was happy that I was able to get it back that day without a whole lot of other work needing to be done, but my front brake pads were replaced, because I have 5% left. They gave me the total over the phone before I left, which was 399 with parts and labor. I thought it was too good to be true. Once I got down there I realized no dealership is that nice... I got my work order from them, and found that the 399 was just the tune-up, and I needed to add another 175 for brakes. This didn't make me a happy camper. I said "What the hell happened to my discount?"

"Oh, we don't know of the club you are talking about"

"Go get Ray and ask him."

So she leaves to go find this "Ray" guy. She comes back and says, "Oh alright, well I guess there is a discount, lucky you"

So I pay and I go out to get my car, which is being brought up to the front. The dumb girl bringing it up dumps the clutch out of the parking spot, kills it, and then when she put it in reverse to back underneath the carport she grinded it until it went in. On top of all that they didn't even wash it!

Overall it was fast work, quality parts, horrible customer service. I don't think Daisy will have another trip to the dealer..
