QUOTE(gt_driFFter @ Feb 14, 2006 - 12:19 AM)

I never said i was the author, nor did I try to act like it was mine. People ASSUMED that I wrote it, that's their assumption. MY BAD for not adding a disclaimer, although I still think you are over-reacting. You are beating a dead horse, everyone already knows what you think on the subject. Your opinion is nil to me, as I know I wasn't attempting to pass this story off as my own.

Now please, DROP IT. I'm done replying to comments about the matter, for it serves no purpose.

PS- For someone who focuses on the "strickness" of writing, you sure could use a vocabulary lesson or two.

Dude, you need to chill out. I'm not being mean about this. I was just pointing something out I thought was interesting. I wasn't trying to say anything bad. This is the internet, you can say whatever you want. If someone wants to sue for plagerisum, it's almost impossable. And it would just be dumb. For future referance, just take it easy about these things. Seriously, I ment nothing bad by it, it was just a little comment. I was hoping you wrote it yourself, because it would have been a cool story to talk about, and it would have came from someone I sort of know. It being just an internet thing, makes it a little less cool. And as far as the grammer remark, why did you do that? That wasn't nice. I'm not in "Psyc Paper" mode here. I talk freely and don't always spell check and what not. I'm sorry I upset you, but please take it easy about things.

EDIT: I can't help but say this, but, it doesn't matter if other people assume it's yours or not. If you type anything else someone else said without quotes, it's plagerisum. There are a ton of rules on it. Things you wouldn't even think apply. But like I said before, it's usually only looked at in papers turned in to proffessors and published papers. It's just tech info for any who care. Always be careful with writing papers though, you can go to jail and get kicked out of what ever school your going to.

do you realize how many times the writing said "I"
When you post something that says "I did this" or "I did that," what the hell are we supposed to think? You using the article "I" states that you're talking about yourself. I don't care, I think it's funny, but it is plagerism. Honestly I don't think bigmeanbulldog even cares enough about it to get you so riled up.

First off Bigmeanbulldog, I am sorry if I came off as snappy, I apologize. I am just a little irritated about how nitpicky people can be over the most insignificant things.

Jay, it really is pathetic that you are still carrying on about this. It is a story told in the first person, so of course it's going to use the word "I". Nevertheless, I added a disclaimer to my original post, so that you may be able to untangle your panties in regards to the matter. Although if you really didn't care, as you said you don't, then you wouldn't have bothered to make your FIFTH reply in this thread.

im siding with driffter... plz just drop it guys. i laughed so hard i cried.
i know this is a forum about your own opinions but common sense people! i dont care if he wrote it or not, he never percieved it as his own, using the word I was actually enhancing the story... putting emotions towards the person stand point in the story... would u have rather had it in 3rd person? not as funny, ur still not getting the guys inner thoughts on the good run at the toilet.

final word: just shut up biggrin.gif (in a nice manner)

hey, **** you drifter. I don't care about you plagerising, I'm trying to let you know what it is. If I publish that as an editorial, it is plagerising. My panties are only in a bunch because you think it's not, not because you're plagerising. It's funny, but you're pretty pathetic for how worked up you're getting because you didn't get the response you were looking for.

That was great. I liked the part where he said, "After a considerable amount of paperwork, I got up and surveyed the damage." Thats so great. haha
