Well, whoever had my car before me had inserted these cheap little lights into my highs so they have light in them when your regular headlights are not on. Well, the little lights are either burning out or their connection is not good. So I would like to replace them with LED's. I will likely need matrix/diffusion LED's, and a 184 is probably the right size. However, I obviously have no socket to mount them in. Is there a base that would let me connect plain wires to them, like they have here? I would most likely just stick them in with a dab of silicon, becuase that would hold them in place and seal off the hole. I guess most matrix led's have the resistors built in/have enough in series so that they need no extra resistors.
Anyone have any ideas as far as being able to hook them up with plain wires? -------------------- |
