Hi,
I have my remote start in my car and it's working great, but I've kinda got a minor thing on my hands that's bugging me. I have a feature on my remote start where I can press a button, turn my ignition to off and take out the keys, and my car will stay running for ten minutes or until the brake is pressed or until I press the button to turn it off. Anyway, our cars have the automatic-off headlights that turn off when the car is turned off and the driver's side door is opened. When the passenger side door is opened, it will not turn off the headlights. What I want to do is find which wire I need to send ground or +12 volts to in order to turn off the headlights when my car turns itself off. My alarm has a wire that sends out a ground signal when the remote start shuts down, so I could easily send +12 volts or a ground signal to a wire, I just need to know which wire is the door pin for only the driver's side door. I know that the red and white wire is for both doors by the way. Does anyone know which wire I need to tap into? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
