Good luck finding alot of the alltrac's, they are pretty rare, like the Camry was only made in 1989. I see them on Craigslist sometimes or randomly driving down the street and sometimes there interested in selling most of the time not tho.

I don't think I'd like to build one. I might, but I doubt it. I like smaller cars, and I'm begining to realise AWD isn't as great as everyone says. It's a good thing, but it's just that much more to worry about. I'd like a really simple car to modify. But 3sgte in the Celica seems to be the thing now. That's right, I'm giving in to the turbo. I'll probably change my mind in a week or so.

If they were only made in 1989 then why is my Camry a 1990? There is also no magic button to push to make the car go from AWD to FWD or vice versa. There is however a Center Differential Lock which locks all 4 wheels together for increased traction in a straight line, mostly for winter.

I could have put the 3SGTE into my Celica but I figured it would be best suited in my Camry, which I bought for $400 in a salvage yard.

The air-to-air top mount is only temporary. In the process of fitting a front mount intercooler.

I also saw a 88 or 89 Camry Le all trac. I didn't even know they made Camry's with all trac until about 5 months ago. Hmmmm... I think I see a project coming smile.gif lol

My parents had an 89 Camry All-Trac. They only came with a manual tranny if I remember correctly and it definitly didn't have a 3sgte motor.
Found this Camry All-Trac on Autotrader, $500.
