i think that is a lot...try talking it down a bit...if it was somewhere around 45-50K miles...it is fair, but just that alone with features isn' worth 10K...dealer usually buy from other for about 6k at lowest...look up kelly blue book and look into how long they have it on their lot...the longer they keep it there...they have to pay tax for it being on their lot...so try to talk it down a bit...my opinion!

Price is okay, but definitely buy it. It'll be the last of the best celica ever. I'm kind of looking for a '99 since I'd like my 94 to be a project car.

hey. i bought my 97' silver st for 3600. it had 102 k miles on it at the time and was in okayish condition. so just by comparison, its deff. way too much. try to bargain it down to about the 7 range and check around auto trader to see the prices.

Check kelly blue book, kbb.com for price range in your zip and car condition. I checked for my area code, and the price for a 99 GT hatch in excellent condition was about $11,500.

I think its pretty fair...but remember, its a dealer, so you can negotiate. I bet you could get it for 9500 or less with some good haggling.

I'd say its a go
![]() ![]() Hahah after reading through this thread it makes me wonder if I got ripped off when buying my Celica. I paid 7 grand for a car with a rebuilt title on it. My car was T-boned a while back, and then for some reason a boat company bought it and fixed it up, and then sold it. I bought the car with 71k miles on it... But on the plus side... It has THE cleanest runing engine I have ever seen, it runs as if nothing happened, the only problem from the accident is that the driver's door is a little screwed up, it doesnt really aline well with the back window... If you look at some pics of my car with the top up, look at the back window on the drivers side, something doesnt look even... Thats the only problem I could see with it. -------------------- ![]() 2003 Nissan Murano SE |

I bought my 99 GT in 2004 for $11,500. It had 66k miles @ the time. Wait wait...it actually cost $13k but I had $1500 to put down on it.
Come to think of it I got it for $11k cause they took off $500 since I didnt like how the paint on the hood had a couple chips in it... -------------------- ![]() |

That's a little high. I paid 10,985 last summer for mine, and it only had 36k on it.

Wow! thanks for all the replys. I'm going to offer 8.5k if the car has still not sold. It's been sitting for awhile and the only thing that concerns me is it's a three owner car. Maybe thats why it's still sitting?
