it works! got my my cai today and i had to try it out (even though i have to study for my micro test tomorrow). its a lil different than the directions on for the gt. i had to make 2 cuts on the "S" pipe, one on each end, but everything else is pretty much the same. and it sounds so much better/louder than my sri. i love it. it is f-ing awesome. someone should change the sticky.

i think that's probably next on my list. especially after all the rain we've been having here lately. and i might be able to go to the meet. but maybe not. my gf's grandpa's 1 year death anniversary is on that day and there's a thing at her house. so yeah... i dunno, maybe.

hell yeah... a major biatch. espcially cuz some of the bolts on the bottom of my car were rusted stuck. took me a while to get the box out, but totally worth it.

just take out your stock fender box and bottom box and drop in a k&n filter in your stock box and call it a day.

you have to drill a hole and use the rubber seal from your stock air box.

it's 3 inches diameter (kinda lazy to calculate the metric diameter in my head right now). it won't fit in the hole under the fuse box unless you make it bigger, which isn't too hard to do. or you can try to find one that has a 2.5 inch pipe (again, dunno the metric conversion). just ask the sellers before you bid/buy. i bought this cuz it was the cheapest.

I recently installed an injen short ram intake on my 97 st. I had to buy the gt version. the problem im having is figuring out where the two hoses go there is no breather hose from my stock airbox to the valve cover. right now I have the hose on but I plugged it. is that gonna be ok? and the vacuum hose on the bottom is plugged to im not sure where the vacuum hose is I see on the back of the intake manifold theres a spare plug in that's just plugged would I run the vacuum line to that? if not is it ok for the two hoses to just be plugged everything else is fine.
