 search suggestion, 3 letter words |

Coom - Is it possible to modify the search function so that we can use 3 letter words? I can't tell you how many times I have put something in like KYB, EGT, ABS, H&K, etc, etc and got slammed by the search engine. You know I love the site - just a suggetion.

It's a good suggestion. I'll have to look into it. I may be upgrading the site to version 2.0 of the forums sometime.

I was thinking the same thing. I think it will come in handy since their are so many 3 letter abreviations for car parts.

I agree. So many times I've gone to Invision Board powered forums and searched for three letter words only to come up with that message. I'll see what I can do.

bump. Although I hate being a pest, I went to learn about AMF and MAPs but got slammed again. Get a chance to look into this coom?

Nope, 2.0 will be free. Also, I'm not a fan of vBulletin, and it costs money, plus it won't integrate with the site like I've setup Invision Board to.
