Try to strip it back to original no paint. Use Testors 1148 enamel thinner.
![]() Paint desired color no need to get fancy just make sure all lettering is covered. ![]() Use flat surface and low lint cloth, I use the blue Scott Shop Towels found at shucks or costco. Wipe painted surface on flat towel. I know it looks like a mess. ![]() I usually let that dry at least 6 hrs. (Prolly overkill). After dry, use enamel thinner by blotting on towel. ![]() ![]() With index finger very lightly wipe across surface, with the grain of the material. ![]() ![]() If you have sn engraving try to stay away from that area until finished with the rest, then very very lightly wipe sn.
