Physical Examination, anyone done this yet? Options

You know, i have to say that all you guys who do request a female doctor dont seem all that secure with yourselfs. Seriously, its not like the doctor gets off on touching you either. A couple of my friends are in med school and they all have to do it, testical exams, rectal exams, breast exams, pap smears... theyve seen it all. By the time they are actually at a hospital or private practice, its nothing new to them, its just thier job.

Yes, a full physical is embarassing, but everyone has to do it, we should all do it. Especially for men, you should get your prostate checked as well as your colon for cancer. I would rather be embarassed for an hour than die of colon cancer.

im very comfortable with my sexuality, i just dont like guys touching my balls, simple as that.

You youngens afraid of a doctor touching your sack are in for a big surprise later in life. First of all, doctors are not thrilled to touch your sack either, thats why they wear gloves.

Asking for a female doc is kind of silly, you are there to be check out for hernia's not to see if you are easily arroused. Just remember, the female doctor has seen probably thousands of tools, so yours won't be the smallest.

If you think hernia checks are bad, wait til you have to give a stool sample, and yes some jobs require this done for a physical. Now this is where you should ask for a woman doctor, and a petite one at that. First time I had this done, the doc was about 6 foot 6 and 250 lbs with hands like a gorilla. I thought he was trying to pull my spinal cord out my keyster. Yes one finger hurts when they put it where it does'nt belong.

As far as the Stifler thing, I'm not sure on that one. My father has had prostrate problems in life and has had to have his prostrate milked(I think that is what they called it). He said it hurt like hell and brought tears to his eyes. On the other hand I had an ex-girlfriend tell me she used to shove a finger up her last boyfriend when he was ready to pop, and it intensifeid it. She wanted to know if I wanted her to do the same. My reply was "do you like having teeth in your mouth"? Needless to say she never tried that on me.

If any of you get unlucky in your lifetime, you might end of with an infection called Epididymitis. This is probably the most painful thing you will ever feel if it hurts like it did when I had it. This infection can be gotten from several things including, Urinary tract infections, std's, genito-urinary surgery, congenital kidney and bladder problems, and my favorite, the use of urinary catheters.

I had just passed a kidney stone prior to this and had to have several catheters inserted while in the hospital. So I go back to work(making trucks frames) and within a few days I start hurting everytime they flip a frame from the previous station over to my station where I work. Everytime they flipped a frame and I had to stop it from doing a 360, it felt like someone was kicking me in the bag with steel toed shoes. I never lasted 8 hours and went home early and got a doctors appointment the next day.

After talking to the doctor and explaining everything, he did his check on me. For the squimmish stop reading now!

The doctor gets a hold on a single testicle and rubs on it to find the tube connecting it to wherever it connects, now you have to remember you have an infection so you are extemely sore on your jewels. Once he locates the tube against your jewel he firmly squeezes the hell out of it, I thought I was going to die. I started backing away and the doctor asks me, "where do you think your going, you can't get more than arm's reach from me while I'm holding this". If you don't think this hurts, grab one of you own testicles right now and squeeze, and than figure it if was infected it would hurt 100 times more. Than he has to repeat the same process for your other jewel. I still get sick to my stomach remembering that day.

The doc lets me know I have this infection in 1 of my boys and gives me the medicine to cure it with strict directions of other things to do, like take warm soaking baths, ice packs on the sack, and no work. He said it could take from 6 to 8 weeks to heal. 2 weeks later I go in to see the doc, and I am feeling alot better but still have some soreness. He says he thinks I might lose my job because I am going to be off so long and suggests having surgery to remove the testicle. I'm like "doc, I am feeling better let's ride this one out the full 8 weeks, let's pretend I don't have a job". I let him know my boys come first before any job and unless it does'nt heal completely, there will be no more talk of removing any parts of me.

I was off work for 5 weeks and still have both my boys down there, thank God. I was not looking forward to being called the UNIBALLER if I had to have surgery.

Now, are you guys still worried about having a doctor touch your bag for 5 seconds for a hernia check?
