I have a 94 GT and it is making a crazy growling noise from the front drivers side. One mechanic said that I need new tires and that was what causing all the noise. I really dont think that it would sound like metal on metal also when I turn at low speeds the axle will make a click or popping sound. I had already replaced the wheel bearing and drivers side axle about 6 months ago. mad.gif Is this common I think where I took it to may have done a bad job or over looked a warn hub perhaps. but Im looking for some info on how to get this bearing out and replace the axle. Im determined not to take it to some shop and charge me out the ass to have it done again 6 months from now. I know from some of the posts that I will need a 33mm socket and some sort of breaker bar or Air wrench. What I really want to know if any one has a diagram of the front drivers side steering system.

I have the following tools.

55pc tool set
Pipe for leverage
Liquid wrench
Tool box full of various tools
2 ton jack
Jack stands

From what I have read on here I will need
race bearing removal tool
33mm Socket
Scan Diagram of the front drivers side stearing system (Axle + Wheel bearing exploded)

Any Info that would guide me that would be great...

Thanks in advance

I dont have any power/air tools.. can this been done by hand? biggrin.gif
