OTC Genisys, Anyone used one with a pre OBD2 7a-Fe? Options

Anyone used one with a pre OBD2 7a-Fe? If anyone has was it able to communicate and what parameters was it able to read? i'd like to be able to watch my AFR, Timing, and O2 voltages during some WOT and part throttle driving to see whats going on and where i could make some changes if i ever decide to do so. i want to get into tuning some and i figure its best to play with my own car before i go break somone else's.

also i want to make sure that everything is working properly, make sure the O2 isnt going lazy (119K milkes on it, time to replace it soon anyways) and that my advance is infact advancing and that im not getting any signifigant knock counts with 89 fuel.
