Actually, to me, power folding mirrors do serve a purpose. They're at least a little more protected when you're parked and such. That, and they're totally pimp. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the total project run you?

the mirrors themeselves were 80 bucks. so i figure the stock ones can sell for like 40-60 bucks, so i really only wasted 20 bucks extra. thats how im able to mod my car and feel good about it. lol. so 20 bucks to have em fold in automatically, not too bad, dont ya think?

Some will say wire them to a relay that's activated when you arm your alarm. I don't know if I'd do that, cause I think the car looks weird parked with folded in mirrors every single time. I would however, wire them to an auxilary channel on my alarm so I can fold them from outside the car. Showoff tongue.gif As the nice weather is approaching, though, I'm getting a power roll-up and roll-down window modules for my alarm. Up automatically when the alarm is armed, down by aux channel on remote. You and I are alike, valo lol. Nice little mod you're doing though. Definately unique. Good luck

My mitsubishi, closes the side mirrors if I press the lock button on remote twice.

Opens it back up again if i press open twice too.

I never get tired of it. If only my celica did that.

Finally I know that I don't have jdm folding mirrors. Was so confused if mine was jdm or not. Lol. I never folded it in though. Kind of scared of putting pressure onto it. Maybe one day when I have nothing to buy for my car. I'll get the JDM mirrors and hook it up to my alarm. Would be cool for it to be able to fold in with the alarm armed. Lol.
