In california, you can tint the sides as dark as the back up to the "drivers" door. In other words, in a four door, you can do the "back sides" as dard as the rear window, but the driver / passenger sides can only be like 15% or something. I know... 'cause I got mine done, I just can't remember what it is for shure.

hmmm, how accurate is that? Cuz im just about 100% sure that in texas the rear windows cant be Anything. it can only be 25%...

ya tint laws change so much and if you look online so many diffrent sites say so many different things but i dont know bud i got my done in texas (2005 still have reciepts) and i was told by many places that its anything in the rear and back doors and front passenger and front driver is 25 and you can only tint the very tip of the front. He he i paid a lil extra and got a 15 percent in the front 5 in the rear quarter and 5 in the hatch. I love it but hard to see at night when you first do it. In Hi where im at now i swear ive seen so many cars with 5 percent tint on the front. im like wtf i really want to get mine done like that but i kno thats hella illegal. i would even tint my front windshield 5 percent 2 lolz just looks more flush when you dont have diffrent color tints frunning all around your car. thatz just my opinion though

As for me: tint everything except the front windsheld.... when you see a po po, just roll down the front windows and freeze your ass out

ya thatz what i done everything is 5 percent( limo) except the doors i want to take them off and put a 5 percent on them too. only thing is thye wont give me warranty with illegal tinting on my car.

I just ran a search for legal tinit limitations, so i'm not sure. I just did that to give ya'll a basis. I got mine tinited at the end of march. I got 20% all the way around with a 4" brow on the windshield. Looks Hott IMO. I will get some pics up soon.

Yea i stand corrected. Apparently the place i took mine too told me differently, but you guys are right. Knowing this i think ima take mine back and get a lil darker.
