I got lowering springs for my birthday. Tein S.Techs. I installed the fronts myself, and they were easy, but when I tried to do the back, I stripped the sway bar endlink bolt with the allen key. I ended up taking it to my mechanic to install the rears, new sway bar bushings and diagnose my drivers side power window problem. I got the car back and my mechanic said I needed a new drivers side power door lock/window control. I called up Spitzer Toyota just for a laugh, $220. eBay wanted $40-$50. I ended up getting one from All Foreign Auto Parts in Pittsburgh for $25. Works great.
I painted my calipers blue, to draw attention to the new wheels and tires. I painted the drums black, because they were rusty and I didnt want to call attention to an inferior braking system by painting them blue. I also sprayed the wheelwells with a quick coat of black. I also removed my mudflaps, the bolts were rusted solid, so I just cut off the mudflaps, and will hack-saw off the bolts. In the pics, the wheelwells are a bit muddy, last night me and some buddies went up to Egan Park and its all a dirt road. ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic ![]() High Res Pic And My favorite: ![]() High Res Pic Enjoy!
