it will raise your car slightly, but i dont mean from the tire to the fender. More like the distance between the floor and frame or bumper. But it will be almost un-noticeable.

and yes Hapy Birthday!!

ok look if you wanna keep it the same just do the math. for example....right now im runnin 225/50r16's ok, i want to keep my car at the same highth that it is now so i would get 225/40r18....cuz im gettin 18's. ok is that understandable..?the 5 is an inch. im goin 2 rim sizes up so i would drop 2 tire sizes. ok kool later hope this helps.

Happy 18th Birthday smile.gif

If you have a set of 17" wheels with a 40 profile tire, like a 215/40/17 for example, they tend to be just a little bit larger in diameter than stock 15" wheels with tires, maybe by half an inch or so. I used that tire size as an example because thats a very common size to put on a 17x7 or 7 1/2" wheel. Of course if you use a larger profile tire like a 45 (better ride quality), the diameter of the wheels with tires will also become larger obviously and will raise your car even higher.

Hope that helps.

When i got my 18's i didn't get a rim/tire package. But i made sure that i got tires that if you stood them next to my stock 15' tire they stood the same height, That way it didn't raise my car at all.
