so i check in the paper for used cars from our weekend paper that my parents recieve and i found a 93 supra with 69,7xx miles for only $5500 and i was like whoa, is this real so the guy has an email but a weird area code phone numer which turns out to be in cali. I email the guy and he says its a manuel twin turbo with all these upgrades on it, then he said he sent me pictures which never showed up in the email. I wrote back to him and he said that he was in the UK now and that he needed to sell the car cause he needs to pay for the house he just bought in the uk and something about losing his job in the states. he now wants me to setup a third party ebay contract to get the car to where i live and ive seen this sort of thing before and its a huge scam. I'm just really concerned that it was in the paper that i check periodically and that anyone else looking for the same deal will be scammed and very pissed off that such a thing could end up in there, what do think someone can do for something like this happens? go to the police or call the newspaper company? kinda brought my hopes up for little bit.
