Clutch Working Now, Had problem with clutch but it now okay??? Options

I was having trouble with my clutch for abuot a month and I thought it was my release bearing and also had that confirmed by mechanic. I decided not to fix and now as of yesturday it seems to be working perfectly fine. What was happening was that there was a noise when I was driving, but would stop when I put the clutch in. Now the noise doesn't happen at all anymore.

Is it possible that it was my clutch release bearing and somehow it has fixed itself? I am confused and am hoping someone can enlighten me on what the chances are of it fixing itself, or was it a different problem?

Any information or comments would be appreciated, but I am happy the noise is gone so I am not complaining!
