I was having trouble with my clutch for abuot a month and I thought it was my release bearing and also had that confirmed by mechanic. I decided not to fix and now as of yesturday it seems to be working perfectly fine. What was happening was that there was a noise when I was driving, but would stop when I put the clutch in. Now the noise doesn't happen at all anymore.
Is it possible that it was my clutch release bearing and somehow it has fixed itself? I am confused and am hoping someone can enlighten me on what the chances are of it fixing itself, or was it a different problem? Any information or comments would be appreciated, but I am happy the noise is gone so I am not complaining! -------------------- |

I was thinking about it and I guess this could make sense in that maybe the grease in the bearings has just warmed up and spread around enough to stifle the noise. Probably will hear the noise again once it cools down.
